Each of the boards has a solid black backing surface that is self-healing and stain-resistant, preventing pin holes and other blemishes from showing. Each 60” x 36” tackboard has an extruded aluminum trim with a satin finish for a sleek, professional appearance. Many institutions use the boards as a message center and install the self-healing displays in entryways, lobbies, and large gathering areas such as cafeterias or community meeting rooms. Both the backing surface and trim of each tackboard are made almost entirely from recycled materials, making the Ghent product a great way to be more environmentally friendly in the workplace.
